Oct 8 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan at 1300 GMT on Friday:

TAKHAR - The governor of Kunduz, Mohammed Omar, and 15 others were killed in a bombing at a mosque as they took part in Friday prayers. At least 20 other people were wounded in the blast, local authorities said. Omar was a former member of the Northern Alliance that fought against the Taliban.

KABUL - Three ISAF soldiers were killed in three separate incidents in southern Afghanistan -- one in an insurgent attack and two in explosive blasts, the NATO-led force said. It did not provide any further details.

KABUL - Taliban insurgents burned eight supply trucks for NATO troops and killed six Afghan security guards in Wardak province, southwest of Kabul, on Friday, a provincial governor's spokesman said.

KABUL - A senior Taliban commander and four others were captured in Dand district of Kandahar province after NATO troops came under attack with grenades. One insurgent was also killed, the NATO-led forces said.

KABUL - Afghan and coalition forces detained one suspect and killed four more after taking fire from a compound during the operation in Wardak province, officials said.
