DHAKA, Dec 8 (Reuters) - At least five people were killed and 50 others were injured in a train crash in Bangladesh on Wednesday, police said.

The accident occurred at a railway station at Narsingdi, 55 km (35 miles) northeast of the capital Dhaka, when a passenger train crashed into another stationary passenger train.

A reporter at the scene said he saw nearly 10 bodies and many others were injured, as three carriages of the stationary train were badly mangled. (Reporting by Nizam Ahmed; Editing by Alex Richardson)
