Dec 16 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan at 1330 GMT on Thursday:

KABUL - A roadside bomb killed 14 civilians and wounded four in western Afghanistan on Thursday, a government official said. The victims were in a minibus in the Kesh-e Kohna district of Herat province near the border with Turkmenistan and may have been part of an extended family going to an engagement party. [ID:nSGE6BF072] KABUL - Four Afghan soldiers were killed by a U.S. air strike in Musa Qala district in southern Helmand province, Defence Ministry spokesman Zaher Azimy said.
