KABUL, Dec 19 (Reuters) - Five Afghan army training officers were killed and nine wounded in an attack by two Taliban suicide bombers in Kabul on Sunday, the Defence Ministry said.

The attackers opened fire on a bus carrying the officers on the main road from Kabul to the eastern city of Jalalabad, the site of NATO and Afghan army bases and several similar attacks.

"Two suicide bombers launched small arms fire on the vehicle carrying officers of Kabul's military training center and one later blew himself up," the Defence Ministry said in a statement.
