Dec 28 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Pakistan at 0830 on Tuesday.

MIRANSHAH - Two suspected U.S. drone aircraft fired four missiles into a house in North Waziristan region on the Afghan border, killing at least four militants, intelligence officials in the region said.

Shortly afterwards, two more missiles were fired as militants were busy in rescue work at the site of the strike, killing three more insurgents.

There was no independent confirmation of the incident, and militant groups often dispute official death tolls.

KARACHI - Gunmen killed a pro-government tribesman in the southern city of Karachi, police said.

Qadir Khan, a resident of South Waziristan, had helped security forces to fight al Qaeda-linked militants in the rugged mountainous region before moving to Karachi.

No one claimed responsibility of the killing, but Taliban militants have killed many tribesmen after accusing them of being U.S. or government spies.
