Jan 1 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan at 1000 GMT on Saturday. * Denotes new or updated items * KABUL - A member of the NATO-led International Security Assistance Forces (ISAF) was killed by a roadside bomb in southern Afghanistan on Saturday, the coalition said in a statement. No other details were available. KABUL - Three insurgents were killed during an operation targeting a Taliban leader in the Shin Wari area of northern Kunduz province on Friday, ISAF said.

KABUL - Three insurgents were killed during a precision air strike in southern Kandahar province on Friday, ISAF said.

The air strike targeted a member of the Taliban who coordinated, prepared and supplied insurgents for attacks against Afghan and foreign forces in Zharay district, the coalition said.
