Jan 14 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Pakistan at 0530 GMT on Friday.

HANGU - Suspected militants gunned down a female police official, her three daughters, a sister-in-law and two other relatives near the northwestern town of Hangu, police said.

The militants had threatened the police official to quit her job or else she will be killed.

Taliban militants are often opposed to women leaving their homes for work and have targeted female teachers and health workers in the past.
