Jan 15 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan at 1530 on Saturday.

HELMAND - A U.S. marine shot and killed an Afghan police officer after a dispute between the pair during a security operation in Sangin district in Helmand province, the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said. ISAF said it was investigating the incident.

KANDAHAR - Eleven Afghans, including seven civilians and four policemen, were wounded when explosives planted on a bicycle exploded in Kandahar city in southern Afghanistan, police chief for Kandahar province, Khan Mohammad Mujahid, said. He said the target had been a passing police vehicle.
