Bomb blast kills 13 Afghan civilians in southeast

KABUL, Jan 19 (Reuters) - Thirteen Afghan civilians were killed when their motorised rickshaw was hit by a roadside bomb in southeastern Afghanistan on Wednesday, a provincial official said.

Mukhlis Afghan, spokesman for the governor of Paktika province, said several women and children were among the dead in the explosion.
