Jan 23 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 1710 GMT on Sunday.

* TAZA - A roadside bomb wounded a leader of a government-backed militia and three of his guards as they were driving by in a pickup truck in Taza, 210 km (130 miles) north of Baghdad, the Joint Coordination Centre in Kirkuk said.

BAGHDAD - A car bomb went off near a bus carrying Iranian pilgrims, killing one and wounding seven in Baghdad's northwestern Kadhimiya district, police and Interior Ministry sources said.

BAGHDAD - A car bomb exploded near a hotel on Abu Nawas Street in central Baghdad, killing one person and wounding six others, an Interior Ministry source said.

TAJI - A car bomb killed two people and wounded four in Taji, 20 km (12 miles) north of Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source said. A police source said it was a roadside bomb.

BAGHDAD - A car bomb went off near a police patrol in Baghdad's southern Ilaam district, killing one policeman and one civilian, and wounding eight people, including four policemen, an Interior Ministry source said. A police source said earlier it was a roadside bomb.

BAGHDAD - A car bomb exploded near a police patrol, wounded four people, including one policeman in Baghdad's central al-Mesbah district, an Interior Ministry source said.
