KABUL, Jan 28 (Reuters) - A suicide bomber was responsible for an attack on a supermarket popular with foreigners in the Afghan capital Kabul on Friday, a senior police source told Reuters.

The Taliban told Reuters by telephone that they had carried out the attack and said they were targeting foreigners in the capital. (Reporting by Hamid Shalizil; Writing by Matt Robinson; Editing by Emma Graham-Harrison)
