MEXICO CITY, Feb 25 (Reuters) - A 5.7 magnitude earthquake struck Mexico's Gulf coast in the state of Veracruz on Friday but there were no reports of injuries or damage to oil installations.

The quake was four miles (6.4 km) northwest of Acayucan, and was 82.6 miles (133 km) deep, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

"It felt strong but so far we have no reports of damage ... or injuries," said Marisol Sanchez, a spokeswoman for civil protection in the state capital of Xalapa.

The state-run oil company Pemex [PEMX.UL] said the quake did not affect the oil complexes, refinery and exporting terminals in Veracruz.

"We are operating normally," said Pemex spokeswoman Georgina Saavedra in the southern port of Coatzacoalcos. "We felt it, but it was mild."

A local coffee organization said there were no reports of damage to coffee farms in Veracruz, Mexico's No. 2 coffee producing state. (Reporting by Michael O'Boyle and Mica Rosenberg; Editing by Eric Beech)
