Libya to free detained al-Jazeera crew in 24 hours - TV

CAIRO, March 23 (Reuters) - Al Jazeera television said on Wednesday Libyan authorities will release its reporting crew within 24 hours, after the crew was detained in west Libya last week.

The channel had said that its crew included two correspondents, one Tunisian and another Mauritanian, and two cameramen, one Norwegian and one British. It also said that one of its cameramen was killed in an ambush near Benghazi. (Writing and reporting by Marwa Awad; editing by Philippa Fletcher)
