DAMASCUS, March 25 (Reuters) - Abut 1,000 people rallied on Friday in the town of Tel, just north of the Syrian capital Damascus, in support of the city of Deraa, and denounced two relatives of President Bashar al-Assad as "thieves", witnesses said.
At least 44 people have been killed in Deraa in a police crackdown on protests by reformists that began a week ago.
