CAIRO, April 10 (Reuters) - Egypt's former president Hosni Mubarak said on Sunday that accusations of corruption against his family were unfounded and he had the right to defend his reputation.

"I will uphold all my legal rights to defend my reputation as well as that of my family," Mubarak said in a recorded statement, accusing Egyptian media of tarnishing his reputation. (Reporting by Sherine El Madany and Sarah Mikhail)
