May 8 (Reuters) - Results were declared from a re-run governorship election in Nigeria's southeastern state of Imo on Saturday, a vote won by the opposition All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) party.

Elections were held in 24 of the 36 states in April, although the Imo vote had to be re-run due to irregularities. Elections in 10 states will not be held until 2012 or later as their governors are mid-way through 4-year terms.

The table shows the name and party of the incoming and outgoing governors.
