AMMAN, May 30 (Reuters) - At least three civilians were killed on Monday when security forces entered the town of Talbiseh in Homs province to crush dissent against Baathist rule, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
The killings brought to 14 the number of civilians killed in the area around the city of Homs, the provincial capital, since troops backed by tanks surrounded several towns and villages in the region on Sunday, Observatory director Rami Abdelrahman told Reuters.
