Aug 21 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Pakistan at 0945 GMT on Sunday.

WANA - Taliban militants attacked a military post in the Ladda area of the South Waziristan tribal region on the Afghan border, killing at least one soldier and wounding another, local intelligence officials said. In a retaliatory attack, the troops killed two militants.

In another incident, one soldier was killed and six wounded when militants fired rockets on a military checkpost in Pasht Ziarat area on the border with North Waziristan, another major sanctuary for al Qaeda and Taliban militants. Two militants were killed in army's counter-attack. Five soldiers were also wounded when their vehicle hit a roadside bomb in North Waziristan. (Compiled by Zeeshan Haider)
