Aug 24 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan at 1030 GMT on Wednesday.

*GARDEZ - A rocket attack in a busy market in the Gardez district of eastern Paktia province killed three civilians and wounded 10 more including a child on Wednesday, President Hamid Karzai's office said in a statement. Karzai strongly condemned the attack, the statement said.

KABUL - A service member from the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) died following an insurgent attack in southern Afghanistan, the coalition said in a statement. It did not give any more details.

KABUL - Afghan security forces and ISAF killed two insurgents on Tuesday in the northern Faryab province, the coalition said in a statement.

KABUL - Afghan security forces and ISAF troops killed 14 more insurgents in operations across the country over the past 24 hours, the Interior Ministry said in a statement. (Compiled by Kabul bureau)
