KABUL, Aug 26 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan at 0730 GMT on Friday.

HERAT - One civilian was killed and ten more wounded when explosives planted near the provincial police headquarters went off in western Herat city on Friday, said Ghulam Farooq, a senior police officer.

KABUL - A service member from the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) was killed in an insurgent attack in southern Afghanistan on Thursday, the coalition said in a statement. It gave no other details. (Compiled by Kabul bureau,)
