JAKARTA, Sept 25 (Reuters) - An explosion caused by a suspected suicide bomber outside a church in the Indonesian city of Solo killed one person on Sunday, local media reported.

The explosion came after Sunday service outside a Protestant church in Solo, the hometown of radical Muslim cleric Abu Bakar Bashir.

Local Elshinta radio reported the blast might have been caused by a suicide bomber.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Djihartono in Solo said an anti-terror unit was at the site.

"The anti-terror (unit) is on location now to collect evidence," he told MetroTV.

Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim country, has been the scene of some major attacks by militants and radical groups over the past decade.
