MOGADISHU, Oct 19 (Reuters) - A loud blast was heard near the seaport in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, on Wednesday, a day after a suicide bomber killed six people in the city, residents said.
"We heard a big explosion and saw people running away. Government forces fired in the air," resident Yakub Farah told Reuters.
Earlier this month, another suicide attack claimed by al Qaeda-linked rebels killed more than seventy people. (Editing by Richard Lough)
