TALODI, Sudan, April 12 (Reuters) - The Sudanese army is "dealing with the situation" in an oilfield occupied by South Sudan forces and hopes to finish the operation within hours, the governor of Sudan's South Kordofan province said on Thursday.

Ahmed Haroun told reporters in the town of Talodi in the South Kordofan border state that crude production had stopped in the Heglig oilfield. "Our army is dealing with the situation. We hope we can finish that operation in hours," he said. (Reporting by Alexander Dziadosz; Writing by Tom Perry; Editing by Robin Pomeroy)
