South Sudan says committed to end of hostilities with Sudan

JUBA, April 29 (Reuters) - South Sudan has told the United Nations it was committed to an "immediate cessation of all hostilities" with Sudan, according to a letter from the country's mission to the world body, seen by Reuters on Sunday.

South Sudan also said in the letter it would withdraw all police from the disputed Abyei region.
