KHARTOUM, Dec 21 (Reuters) - Four international peacekeepers were killed in Sudan's troubled Darfur region by a comrade who opened fire, the United Nations Mission in Darfur (UNAMID) said on Friday.

The shooting happened at the UNAMID site in Mukjar in West Darfur on Thursday, UNAMID spokeswoman Aicha Elbasri said, adding that another peacekeeper had been wounded. She did not disclose the nationalities of those involved or what had happened to the perpetrator. (Reporting by Ulf Laessing; Editing by Robin Pomeroy)
