QUETTA, Pakistan Aug 8 (Reuters) - A bomb exploded at the funeral of a Pakistani policeman in the western city of Quetta on Thursday in a scene captured live on television as cameras broadcast the procession.

A Reuters reporter at the funeral described chaos with many people being carried out and put into ambulances. The exact number of casualties was not clear.

The bomb went off as senior officers prepared to offer prayers for their colleague, gunned down earlier on Thursday. Quetta is home to many militants, including the Taliban, sectarian groups and separatist fighters.
