Lured by promises of a better life and adventure, Claudia Roa joined Colombia's FARC insurgents when she was 14. She was put in charge of radio communications for a rebel commander and spent 11 years in Latin America's longest running insurgency where she witnessed women fighters being forced to undergo abortions. She tells Thomson Reuters Foundation about the loss of her own two babies while fighting in Colombia’s jungles.
