Syria: Food Aid Getting Through, But Some Areas Still Cut Off

WFP dispatched enough food to feed over 3.4 million people inside Syria in November -- mainly to displaced families in 13 governorates. The UN agency also managed to deliver food aid to several communities that had been previously cut off by fighting. But as Syria Country Director Matthew Hollingworth notes, there are many other communities that are still cut off. WFP is gravely concerned about the fate of Syrians trapped in conflict zones.
