From the conflicts in Syria and Central African Republic to the super typhoon in the Philippines, 2013 threw up a challenging sequence of emergencies to WFP and its humanitarian partners. But there were also new findings about school meals and encouraging stories from former aid recipients. Here are 12 photos that look back on a year in WFP's fight against hunger.
