KIEV, Aug 22 (Reuters) - Ukraine will not attack the convoy of Russian aid trucks that has crossed into Ukrainian territory and wants to avoid any "provocations", Ukrainian state security chief Valentyn Nalivaychenko said on Friday.
"Ukraine will liaise with the International Committee of the Red Cross so that we, Ukraine, are not involved in (accusations of) provocations that we have been holding up or using force against the vehicles of so-called aid," he told journalists.
In response to a question whether Ukraine would use air strikes against the convoy of trucks that are travelling through rebel-controlled Ukrainian territory, Nalivaychenko said: "Against them, no."
