Aug 26 (Reuters) - Cristobal, the third hurricane of the 2014 Atlantic season, has strengthened a little, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said in its latest advisory on Tuesday.

The hurricane was located about 435 miles (700 km) west-southwest of Bermuda with maximum sustained winds of 80 miles per hour (130 km per hour), the NHC said.

"On the forecast track, the center of Cristobal is expected to pass northwest of Bermuda on Wednesday and Wednesday night," the Miami-based weather forecasters said. (Reporting by Koustav Samanta in Bangalore; Editing by Lisa Shumaker)
