Cyclone Hudhud made landfall on India's east coast on Sunday 12 October, with gusts of up to 195 km per hour (over 120 mph).

CBM has been in touch with all our partners in the path of the storm and although they report no casualties, they say that many buildings are damaged, trees have fallen, power lines are down and in some places landslides have resulted in rocks blocking roads.

Heavy rain and nightfall are preventing more updates, as many staff and residents have temporarily evacuated their homes, but more news will be added here as it arrives.
