Friday File – This week AWID is pleased to share the Call for Participation (CFP) for the 2016 AWID Forum, taking place in Salvador, Brazil from 5-8 May 2016, just a year from now!  Here you will find analysis of the current context - a time of increased global repression and the attempted silencing of progressive voices – and an assessment of the current state of organising for rights and justice. The CFP also makes the case for why the time is now for social movements to come together to create feminist futures by building collective power for rights and justice.

If you believe in the values of dignity, rights and justice for people and the planet and would like to join in a creative disruption of the dominance and oppression that has sought to silence alternatives, read AWIDs 2016 Forum Call For Participation find out how you can be involved in exploring new ways of working together that move us beyond our existing silos and build collective power.
