Pentagon expected to unveil plans to lift military's transgender ban -AP

WASHINGTON, July 13 (Reuters) - The Pentagon is expected to announce this week plans aimed at lifting the ban on transgender individuals serving in the military, the Associated Press reported on Monday, citing senior U.S. officials.

The military services would have six months to assess the impact of the change and work out the details, the AP said. (Reporting by Eric Beech; Editing by Emily Stephenson)
