Russia on Feb. 24 launched an all-out invasion of Ukraine by land, air and sea, triggering a massive displacement of people, including more than 8 million Ukrainians within the country, according to the International Organization for Migration.
The number of people who have fled Ukraine passed 6 million in May, in Europe's worst refugee crisis since the end of World War Two, the U.N. agency reported.
Most refugees have crossed to the European Union through border points in Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.
