Robert Glasser


Robert Glasser is Special Representative of the U.N. Secretary-General for Disaster Risk Reduction, and heads UNISDR, the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction. From 2008 to 2015, he was the secretary-general of CARE International, and from 2003-2007, the chief executive of CARE Australia. Prior to that, he was Assistant Director General at the Australian Agency for International Development, and has also been a board member of the Global Call for Climate Action.
