Peter Lundberg

UN Deputy Humanitarian Coordinator for Nigeria


Peter Lundberg is the UN Deputy Humanitarian Coordinator for Nigeria. He is based in Maiduguri, the capital of the State of Borno, North-East Nigeria, which was Boko Haram’s stronghold for years. Before joining the United Nations, Peter Lundberg was the Director for Humanitarian Assistance at the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA). Mr Lundberg also held several management positions with civil society organisations, such as the Swedish Red Cross, and worked in Ethiopia, Zimbabwe and Malaysia.
