Jo Scheuer is Director for Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction in UNDP’s Bureau for Policy and Programme Support. Focused on addressing climate and disaster risks, his team supports countries in building resilience through risk-informed, zero-carbon approaches to deliver on the Sustainable Development Goals. This includes policy engagement in support of international agreements and processes, as well as programmatic support to nearly 170 UNDP Country Offices to implement the Sendai Framework for DRR and the Paris Agreement.
