Argentina had the first robust data protection law in its region, but this is now outdated and needs reform. To back their arguments, they relied on TrustLaw’s support, and the legal assistance provided by nine law firms around the world to develop a comparative study on legislation on data protection applicable to the public and private sectors, focusing on the main legal aspects that should be considered to have a law that ensures privacy and protection of personal data.
