Damage is seen at Hamas' Al-Aqsa TV office in a building that houses other media offices, which witnesses said was hit in an Israeli air strike, in Gaza City July 29, 2014. Israel's military pounded targets in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his country should prepare for a long conflict in the Palestinian enclave, squashing any hopes of a swift end to 22 days of fighting. Hamas said its broadcast outlets Al-Aqsa TV and Al-Aqsa Radio were also targeted. The television station continued to broadcast but the radio station went silent. Israel launched its offensive on July 8 saying it wanted to halt rocket attacks by Hamas and its allies. REUTERS/Suhaib Salem (GAZA - Tags: POLITICS CIVIL UNREST MEDIA)

Mohamed Abdul Jabar al-Shaboot, head of the Iraqi Media Network, speaks during interview with Reuters in Baghdad
Mohamed Abdul Jabar al-Shaboot, head of the Iraqi Media Network that broadcasts Iraqiya speaks during an interview with Reuters in Baghdad, July 17, 2014. State television is working overtime to persuade Iraqis to help Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki confront an al Qaeda offshoot that has seized wide tracts of the country, but its unifying call has been blunted by his sectarian reputation. Since the humiliating loss of much of Iraq's north to Islamic State insurgents, the official Iraqiya channel has been churning out patriotic videos of marching soldiers, heavily-armed commandos and even singers and actors to rally the public behind the government.
